CHALKIS – China
The Chalkis group, Chinese leading processor of tomato with its 23 plants some of which based in Europe as well, relied on Fava Artemio & C.’s experience for the fitting in of a new storage, unscrambling and conveying system for ketchup bottles. The unscrambler at issue, model 3350 DT double chute, works 340g and 485g containers at 19,000bph and 720g at 11,000bph. Downstream, a slat conveyors system for connection to the filler completes the plant. The use of Fava machines by this world-leading processor confirms the specialization acquired in the ketchup/sauces field and food sector generally.
